HAPPY BIRTHDAY OWEN!

Today was Owen's 3rd birthday! He is really making huge strides. He knows all his letters and numbers and is even doing some basic reading. He can read his name when he sees it, and a few other words like "play". He is talking very well (and all the time!), and he also is working well on getting pronunciation and strange things like pronouns down a bit better. For example, I asked him "Hey Owen, who do we know who's three??" In the past, he would've said, "OWEN!" but instead he said "ME!!" So he's definitely progressing with his language skills. For a trained linguist like myself, it's fun and interesting to watch the kids pick up the language.

His Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Dari came down from Colorado last weekend and Dari took some pictures of him. Here he is making a funny face for us.
