Some are already calling it the greatest college football game of all time. Personally, I think it's the worst. I said it before and I'll say it again...this game was a no-win situation for Oklahoma. This game, for OU, was about the same situation as picking a fight with a pregnant woman. Of course, you can't expect the pregnant woman to fight fair, either; she's going to do whatever she has to do to win, and whether you win or lose, you still look stupid. THAT is the situation OU had to face here.
Frankly, I'm seriously considering giving up college football for good. If it doesn't get any better than what happened last night, what's the point of watching?
Talk all you want about how it's not about who wins or who loses, or what a great f***ing story this game was, or how great it was to watch. If it's not about who wins or loses, WHY THE HELL DO WE KEEP SCORE?
All that anyone will remember is how we lost to Boise State. And they'll never let us forget it. Like I said, no-win situation.
It just goes to show you, I guess...you can fight through all the adversity in the world. You can come back and make a game of it. But in the end, life gives you situations that are just like this, situations where you're better off not even being involved in the situation, because whether you give your all or you do nothing, you will get nothing but disrespect in the end.
Thank you, college football...thanks for nothing.
