I'm greatly saddened that the only Pope I can remember, Pope John Paul II, is now at death's door. But even as I am saddened that the Pope is in such dire straits, I am happy that he will soon go on to his reward in the Lord. Pope John Paul II will go down as one of the greatest men to lead the Roman Catholic Church. Even as a non-Catholic, I have always admired the Pope. His place in Heaven is assured. Dear God, please admit this wonderful soul into his eternal rest. I look forward to meeting him when I get there.
