This blog is about me and my life, particularly how my upbringing as an Oklahoman defines me and colors how I look at everything else in the world. I might talk about anything, from the weather to where I live to world news to deep social or political issues to metaphysics to quantum physics to information security concerns.
Why do celebrities have to be such dorks when it comes to picking baby names? (Of course, half of his friends and classmates will likely be named Barack...so what's worse?)

I actually expected something worse from those two. At least people might actually be able to spell (and pronounce) Bronx correctly. I have a few friends who are big into the "take a normal name and destroy it by swapping out too many vowels and consonants in an attempt to make it special" thing. They would have probably spelled it Braunks. No joke.
All I can do is shake my head sadly. To think, we used to pick our children's names with pride and thoughtfulness. Now we just make them as weird as possible.
